ORANGE COUNTY, CA
Who We Are:
Mint + Laurel is a lifestyle brand focused on products from or inspired by the Middle East. We are a collective group of creators, problem solvers and dreamers, who believe in products with a purpose. Started by three women with one vision - to connect artisans to an un-tapped global market. We work on reviving age-old techniques through modern design leadership, training and capacity building, all while helping our artisan partners make an honest living. Mint + Laurel partners with artisans who have been impacted by war from Syria, Lebanon and Tunisia. Our goal is to change the conversation on the region by showcasing beautifully hand-crafted products that do a world of good.
How We Make the Dough:
As a social enterprise we only collaborate with small artisan groups, non-profits and local businesses that have not yet made their way to the U.S. market. We only work with businesses that inspire us and practice what we preach in our focus to make a difference. We are passionate about what we do and believe in transparency, sustainability and building long standing relationships with our artisan partners. For us, there is little difference between work and pleasure because our work is our pleasure.
